I somehow managed to contract Strep Throat, which is amazing considering I rarely get to leave the house and have pretty severe OCD.

So the Nintendo Wii will be released on Nov. 19th in North America (Dec. 2nd in Japan) and will cost $250. It comes with Wii Sports, one Wiimote (with batteries), one nunchuck attachment, the sensor bar and stands for both it and the console, and the Opera web browser (plus all the cables to hook it up, obviously). New games will cost $50 and virtual console games between $5-10.

I'm down with all that, but I had hoped that it would cost a little less and would come in various colors (not just white). No matter, I'm still pleased (except about the Gamecube version of Twilight Princess being pushed back to Dec. 11th. That I'm pretty angry about).

My eyes changed recently and I can no longer wear the same kind of contacts that I have been wearing since I was 16. Problem is, we haven't been able to find any that will work. Seriously, I would really like to see well again (ok, as well as I was ever able to see).

Also, I am thinking about going back to school....but for what exactly I am unsure of.

In other news, I am a PATHETIC video game surgeon. I sorta kinda almost killed the guy with the throat polyps THREE times...and I seem to be having issues with the intestinal inflammation guy. I just cannot think quickly enough to play this game today.

Holy guacamole though, this game is unbeliveably addictive.

Found inside the booklet for the Nintendo DS game Trauma Center: Under the Knife. I'm glad they put that, because I was planning on becoming a surgeon if I did well in the game. I suppose I shall have to re-think my career options now ;)

This year I've been busy!

In June I put gum in dongsparty's hair (-12 points). In February I helped deadofdecember see the light (8 points). In September I ruled Canada as a cruel and heartless dictator (-700 points). In March I caught a purse-snatcher who stole zas's purse (30 points). Last Monday I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points).

Overall, I've been naughty (-348 points). For Christmas I deserve a spanking!

I'm not religious in any way, but some sort of miracle-type deal must have happened today 'cause I actually found pants that fit me...at Kaufmann's. It was nice not having to pay ridiculous prices just to get pants long enough for once.

While trying to think of ways to solve my building-stuff-in-3d problem I accidentally figured out how to defeat Batman...seriously.

All the villains have to do is stop focusing so much on Batman. Instead they go after the Dark Knight's annoying little sidekick, Robin.

Now I know what you are thinking. Joker already took out a Robin once before, right? Yup, and look how it devastated Mr. Bats. Unfortunately he somehow ended up with another Robin. However I figure that if the villains team up ('cause I'm sure they can all stand to work together for a little while...just until they achieve victory at least) and continuously kill every Robin that The Bat hires he will eventually realize the danger he has been putting his young apprentices in.

The guilt will be too much for him and The Bat will eventually snap (in other words Batsy will go batsy), causing his incarceration in the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane (really, it was only a matter of time until he lost it anyway. The villains would just be speeding up his inevitable mental breakdown). During his time in Arkham, he would come to understand the benefits of super-villainy, and he would become a villain himself. In one fell swoop the villains eliminate their greatest foe and gain a new partner in crime.

...Of course when Bats snaps he could instead go on a rampage and systematically murder all of the villains who ever plagued him.

Oh well. Take it or leave it, Bat-villains.
